Here is the 2nd church mailing:
Praise in the Park
2006
*** Important Date Change ***
Saturday August 26th
at Halmich Park in Warren, Michigan
Praise in the Park is moved to August 26th. Please update your church calendar.
Praise in the Park is an outdoor concert of God-honoring music, free of charge to the public. It is an opportunity for Warren churches and musicians to show the love of Christ to our city.
Attention: Music Ministers and Worship Team Leaders
We still have spots open for church bands and Christian musicians. Please contact me (tflander@wowway.com) if you are interested in playing.
Volunteers Needed
We are also looking for volunteers to help with hospitality, food service, children’s workers, prayer, and counseling on the day of the event. Please visit http://pitp2006.com for more information and to register for updates via email.
Attention: Pastors
Can we help you minister to the community? Perhaps you have a recovery program, clothing drive, food pantry, or other opportunities to reach out to the lost. We want the city to know that you are there to help. Contact us to set up a table at the pavilion. Note: There will be absolutely no distribution of material allowed without prior permission.
You will receive another mailing six weeks prior to the event with promotional information and a detailed schedule. If you do not wish further contact, please email me.
In Christ,
Todd Flanders
Praise in the Park Event Coordinator

Hey Todd F,
Thanx for the comment over at Goosing the Antithesis. You said:
That is silly. Jesus was fully human AND fully divine. If he wasn't human, then what?
The truth is that he is a made up story my friend.
A space alien? That requires more faith to believe then I have, my friend.
Its easier to believe in finite space aliens than infinite god-men. But Todd, I thought faith was a virtue in your religion. But now youre acting like its not. Maybe if you were a better Christian then you would have enough faith to believe that Jesus was a space alien? After all, he is God and he is in outser space right?
Jesus was sinless to provide the perfect sacrifice for our sins.
But all men are sinners. So Jesus was not a man.
If that was not so, skeptics from the first century would have published His list of sins in every language, crushing Chrisianity before it had a chance to take off.
And if the World really WAS round, then everyone would have realized it in the first century as well, right?
Todd, you believe in a silly fairy tale book. Your Jesus/God is an imaginary superstition invented by ancient sheepherders in a time when all of humanity thought that the world was flat and that women determined the gender of offpsring, just to name a few of the silly things we used to believe back then.
The only thing silly here is your belief in talking snakes, people living inside whales, and being born guilty for actions you didnt commit.
Enjoy your church mailings. Hows church attendance and tithings lately, by the way? Filling up the pews like never before are you? ;-)
Aaron, do you want me to respond here? This isn't really a discussion forum, but we can start this thread if you want. Please advise.
